Equine Art - The LeGate Collection |
| Wendy is not only a reknowned supporter, admirer, friend and patron to the Morgan...she is also all of that to the arts. Any artist having the pleasure of meeting her, discovers a passion for art that is only equaled by what they have poured into the canvas or paper. One could often find themselves wondering, if perhaps, she missed her calling. However, Wendy's calling is well-defined through her dedication to the Morgan breed. That love and dedication developed a heightened sense of passion for all things beautiful, which the artists in her path have benefited from. As her love for art grew, her collection evolved into much more than just Western and Equine art. She indulged her passion with pieces from many different styles, mediums and subject matter. Although her collection grew, her passion never stopped. Masses of artwork lay in storage with the exception of the pieces that a nearby Gallery displays for her.
A dream of Wendy's has always been to share these paintings with the World, without necessarily, having to sell them off. Into her life walks artist, Bj. de Castro, and she soon discovers how this dream can become a reality. de Castro lays out a plan to combine both passions of her life...Morgans and art. Although, the OGO website is topical of the Morgan horse and Wendy's breeding program, she has discovered that her passion for the Morgan has spilled into art. Keeping on topic, we will be listing here Western & Equine Artist's websites. Please enjoy and keep checking back, as this list will surely keep expanding! Soon, we will have a special gallery featuring The LeGate Collection for you to tour.
