South River Kohla |
|
|
Kohla is a raven black 15.2 hand Wyoming Flyhawk daughter. She is an
imposing figure with exceptional bone as well as a substantial hindquarter. Her movement
is the big flat fluid movement that her lines are famous for and she is appropriately
performance proven in dressage. She is one of the quietest, sweetest mares. Her dam's
lines feature Congo and Chingadero on the pedigree.
South River Kohla's pedigree
is mostly Brunk with a bit of Government, old Midwest family and some Old Vermont. On her
sire side, the horses were bred by western ranchers and so some Western Working Family
also appears. The same Brunk horses appear over and over behind her, giving their
closely bred strength to her pedigree and breeding ability.

Funquest Swallow |
|
|
Funquest Swallow is one of the last pure Funquest horses. Her marvelous
heritage is of the Kansas plains working Morgans. Behind Funquest Swallow are excellent
Brunk bred horses who went to the ranchers of the west. Funquest Swallows heritage are
Morgans from Kansas and Oklahoma ranchers and Morgans going back to Elmer Brown and
Richard Sellman, the cornerstones of the Working Western Family. All the horses in the
third line of her pedigree were foaled in 1926 through 1948; this brings that solid old
blood up to today very quickly, along with the heritage of those times for Morgans of
working ability, sense, and good temperament.

T Tyme Sundays Delight |

This mares pedigree is rich in the old Western
Working Family and also has a strong dose of old Brunk and some of the Old Midwest family.
The old blood is up very close in the pedigree with her great grandparents being foaled in
1937, 1938, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1952, 1961 and 1963. Even the most recent great grandparent
was born well over 40 years ago. Her sire, Winterset Cotton, was foaled in 1966 and brings
in some intensely close bred Brunk as well as some old Sellman breeding and Old Midwest.
Her dam, Wests Sweet Sue, foaled in 1975, brings some of the best of the old
California branch of the WWF.
See her daughter's pedigree here: Two C Sissy Herod.

TK Maullie Brown - Sold |
|
|
|
New Pics Updated 10-12-05 !
This 15 hand, solid mare comes from pure Western Working Family stock.
Her sire line goes back to the large and stout Romanesque. Her pedigree carries some of
the best of the Old California, Kansas and Sellman breeding with some good Brunk horses
behind it all. Maullie Brown has a very valuable pedigree of some of the best of the
old breeding. Her ancestors are mostly stallions and mares who were proven sires and dams,
often founding their own families. Her valuable sire line back to Romanesque is reinforced
by the many times that he is found elsewhere in the pedigree. The frequent Brunk horses
behind her help to bring beauty and type. Overall, this is a rare pedigree of great
strength for breeding.

Quietude Holly |
|
|
|
See new foal pics below!
Quietude Holly is a rich source of Jubilee
King for todays breeders. Jubilee King is in her pedigree four times in the fourth
generation and once more in the sixth generation. His daughter Paragraph, that great
producing mare, is in Hollys pedigree twice in the third generation and once in the
sixth, giving her the greatest concentration of Paragraphs blood in this century.
Hollys parents (Courier x Caven-glo Ballerina) and grandparents were
all bred by either Frances Bryant or Eve Oakley, those two excellent breeders carried on
in the tradition of J. C. Brunk. And so Quietude Holly bloodlines bring the deep knowledge
and careful close breeding of these three true Morgan breeders.
